Yekaterina Alexeyevna Furtseva was probably the most influential woman in Soviet politics and the first woman to be admitted into Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

None of the women in the Soviet Union did not rise to such a pinnacle of power as Yekaterina Furtseva. She is remembered as the minister of culture, but before she was one of the top leaders of the Soviet state. She quickly made a career, when women did not turn to politics. And resolutely all it was incumbent upon itself.

This cheerful woman with a violent temper and a strong character could not bear one thing - when it was rejected, and in her personal life and in politics. Seemed to steel her will, but it was internally vulnerable and tried to commit suicide. In her life, a lot of mysteries, and no one knows under what circumstances has left the life of Minister of Culture of the USSR.
